2017 Outstanding Pre-Hospital Educator

Jeremy Green

The 2017 recipient of the Outstanding Pre-hospital Educator award is Jeremy Green.  Jeremy received several nominations this year–all by former students.  One student said:

“I can’t say how much the effort, time and expertise Jeremy provided to the EMT students in Bath County. We are a good distance from Staunton and finding lab assistance willing to make the trek and avoid the driving hazards is not easy. Jeremy put in the extra effort to not only be there for every class, but to make every class educational and interesting.”

Others remarked on how Jeremy well prepared he is for his classes and how he makes learning fun.

“Jeremy Green is a fabulous, engaging, knowledgeable instructor! He is a great addition to Council staff!  Of the members from my agency who were in attendance last evening, many had been up most of the night before on a structure fire and I was hearing the grumbles ahead of time that they secretly hoped class would dismiss early. Before we knew it, it was after 10 pm and we were still giving neb treatments to Sim Man!  Jeremy made this evening’s CE program engaging and well worth our time.”

In addition to bringing a wealth of knowledge and a wide raging skill set to the classroom, Jeremy also continues to be involved with community as an active member of Waynesboro First Aid Crew.
