Consolidated Test Site Evaluator Training

cts imageCentral Shenandoah EMS Council is sponsoring a Consolidated Test Site Evaluator Training program on  August 22, 2016 at 7 PM at the CSEMS Council Training Center in Staunton. This training will qualify EMS providers who meet the prerequisites to be BLS evaluators at Consolidated Test Sites.

Evaluators are responsible to assist the test site coordinator with setting up all practical stations. Evaluators evaluate candidates in accordance established guidelines and accurately and completely document practical results. CSEMS CTS evaluators are compensated when working at test sites.

Preprequisites:  Candidates for CTS Evaluator Training MUST complete an online training module required by the Virginia Office of EMS PRIOR to being allowed to take this hands-on training program.

To access the course you will need to log into: csems.centrelearn.com

Once you have logged in:

  1. Go to MY CURRENT COURSES on the Welcome Page.
  2. Select EMSAT Courses from the next screen.
  3. Scroll down to Evaluator Training for BLS Psychomotor Testing
  4. Click on the title, which should take you to the course page.

When you successfully complete the online portion, you will need to save/print a copy of your completion certificate from the <My Certificates> link and e-mail this to Laurie Cook (lcook@vaems.org) in order to be invited to the hands-on session.
