This training is part of an initiative with the hospitals to get consolidate and streamline hospital, dispatch, and EMS diversion alerting. This training will help EMS better navigate VHASS and see how the RHCC can assist during an MCI, it will help EMS personnel get real time alerting for hospital diversions, and see COVID-outbreaks at local long-term care facilities. It will also help dispatch navigate VHASS so they may see hospital diversion statuses, current ED bed numbers during an MCI and any other hospital statuses.
