Intended audience:
For healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of hospital settings.
Course content:
- Critical concepts of high-quality CPR
- The AHA Chain of Survival
- 1-Rescuer CPR/AED for Adult/Child/Infant
- 2-Rescuer CPR/AED for Adult/Child/Infant
- Differences between Adult, Child and Infant rescue techniques
- Bag-mask techniques for Adult, Child and Infant
- Rescue breathing for Adult, Child and Infant
- Relief of choking for Adult, Child and Infant
- Intro to CPR with an Advanced Airway
Prerequisites:
Must have a current American Heart Association issued BLS for Healthcare CPR card. Upon completion of this class you will receive an ecard.
Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to start time, once class has started late arrivals will not be admitted.

No refunds will be issued for no shows or cancellations/reschedules within three (3) business days of the class start time. Note our office hours are Monday-Thursday 8am-6pm. Students may reschedule, if they notify CSEMS at least three (3) business days before course start time. A $10 processing fee will be assessed for any refunds or reschedules.
