General CSEMS Council Guidelines

  • Registration Required for All Test Sites
    • The deadline to register and pay for a consolidated test site is ten (10) days in advance of the date of the test. Any requests for site registration after that date cannot be honored.
    • Candidates arriving at a consolidated test without registering will not be allowed to test.
  • Testing Begins Promptly at 6:30 PM
    • Candidates arriving after 6:30 PM will not be allowed to test.
  • Consolidated Test Site Fees
    • Initial Practical Examination: $50
    • Retest Practical Examination: $25
    • Written Examination: No Charge
    • Candidates that need to cancel a registration should call the CSEMS Council office (540-886-3676 between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday, except holidays) no less than ten (10) days prior to the test site. No refunds will be awarded after this time period.
    • Payment must be received prior to the test date! It is your responsibility to ensure that the payment has been received by the CSEMS Council prior to the test.
    • Payment WILL NOT be accepted at the test site.
    • You WILL NOT be admitted to the test site if your registration fee has not been paid.

***Registration for Virginia consolidated test sites must be done through the Virginia Office of EMS Consolidated Testing System.
