We will bring it to you – virtually!

When registering for you preferred time, make sure to select the Virtual Presentation preference option.

CSEMS provides a central location for vendors to demonstrate EMS equipment and their capabilities. We want to connect agencies with the latest equipment and resources available. Our goal is to provide access to resources that will save you time and money while increasing efficiency in providing the best patient care.

This month, Laerdal Medical will be demonstrating the following equipment:

SimMan ALS
SimMan ALS provides a mobile, durable solution that will meet the training needs of pre-hospital and in-hospital emergency care providers – from basic assessment to advanced life-support skills. From pre-hospital, on-scene assessment and management to definitive care in a hospital, SimMan ALS can fulfill the unique training requirements of emergency healthcare providers.

  • Airway management
  • Breathing assessment
  • Vascular access
  • Palpation and auscultation
  • Fluid resuscitation
  • ECG interpretation
  • Ultrasound assessment and diagnosis

SimStart is a portable and affordable training solution to simulate the use of an AED or a defibrillator monitor. Integrate SimStart with any Laerdal manikin or patient simulator to achieve a more comprehensive and realistic simulation training.

SimStart can also serve as an easy entry point for organizations looking to get started with simulation training.

  • Track vital signs. Add AED or defibrillator monitor to your simulation scenarios to provide learners with a lifelike learning situation.
  • Capture data. Capture, store and track progress of every learner. All events are automatically registered and logged with LLEAP simulation software, providing richer debriefing and reporting.
  • Improve performance. Realistic training combined with data analysis provides a good foundation for quality improvement initiatives.

Resusci Anne QCPR -Torso
Resusci Anne QCPR helps elevate CPR training to a new level of precision and proficiency. By training with the same protocols, equipment, and techniques used in real emergencies, professional first responders can perfect both individual skills and teamwork.

Designed to be flexible and upgradable over time, Resusci Anne can help first responders train with hands-on precision for increased proficiency.

  • Correct chest anatomy. Three available chest springs allow learners to recognize different chest stiffnesses and adjust their compression force accordingly.
  • Realistic airway handling. Train on correct use of supraglottic equipment with Resusci Anne’s realistic airway head module.
  • Sensorized touch. Advanced feedback sensors help you provide accurate instructions to your trainees.

MamaNatalie® Birthing Simulator
MamaNatalie is a birthing simulator that makes it easy to create very compelling simulations of complex or normal birthing scenarios. It is worn by a standardized patient, who takes the role of the mother, and manually controls the training scenario and the following features:

  • Bleeding
  • Positioning and delivery of the baby
  • Delivery of placenta
  • Fetal heart sounds
  • Cervix landmark
  • Urine bladder catheterization
  • Uterine massage
  • Uterine compression

Register to participate in this live demonstration and educational session. Each in person session will be limited to 4 participants in 1 hour time slots throughout the day. We will continue to adhere to social distancing practices and strict equipment sanitization for your safety and ours.
CSEMS will continue to showcase monthly vendors with a multitude of training equipment for agency training officers and Education Coordinators review for the potential eligibility for RASF grant purchasing. CSEMS will utilize feedback from these demonstrations that may be lead to state purchase for shared use by regional agencies.

CSEMS invites the participation of any vendor with products directly applicable to EMS practice without discrimination. The CSEMS Vendor Showcase participation is offered for informational purposes to agency personnel, and does not represent an endorsement of any product by CSEMS or OEMS.
