American Heart Association’s core HeartSaver classroom courses are for those with little or no medical training. These video based, instructor-led courses teach participants critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) takes over. Depending on the course, participants learn how to recognize, respond to and treat a variety of first aid emergencies, and perform CPR and use an AED in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest.

HeartSaver First Aid/CPR/AED course content:
- First aid basics
- Medical emergencies
- Injury emergencies
- Environmental emergencies
- Adult CPR AED (with a mask)
- Adult choking
- Optional modules: Child CPR AED, Child Choking, Infant CPR, Infant choking. If you do not want to participate in the Child or Infant modules you will be permitted to leave class early.
Cost $85.00, (includes student book and course completion Ecard)

Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to start time, once class has started late arrivals will not be admitted.

No refunds will be issued for no shows or cancellations/reschedules within three (3) business days of the class start time. Note our office hours are Monday-Thursday 8am-6pm. Students may reschedule, if they notify CSEMS at least three (3) business days before course start time. A $10 processing fee will be assessed for any refunds or reschedules.
