There is an ongoing national shortage of Ketamine. The supply of Ketamine is not expected to improve until at least February. Because of this, once the supply of Ketamine in the drug boxes runs out, it is unlikely that it will be resupplied until new supplies are received. Please only use Ketamine when other treatment pathways are not viable or are insufficient. We will keep you updated on this shortage as we learn more. If you have any questions about proper patient care in scenarios where Ketamine would normally be utilized, please contact medical control, your agency medical director, or your agency training officer.
