UVa Health System to Offer Continuing Education @ CSEMS

Central Shenandoah EMS Council is pleased to announce that the University of Virginia Health System’s Pre-hospital Education program has offered to partner with CSEMS to provide continuing education programming in our region beginning this fall.

The UVa Pre-hospital Education program will begin by offering Category 1 hours at the CSEMS Training Center for ALS and BLS providers.  Initially they will have one day time and one evening program per month.  Course details to include area numbers will be included in the announcements located on the CSEMS website.  Registration will be required on the CSEMS website for all those who plan to attend these programs.

The Board of Directors and staff at CSEMS would like to thank Valerie Quick, MSN, RN, EMT-I and James True, AAS, NRP, FP-C as well as the UVa Health System for their outreach and partnership with CSEMS in order to ensure the availability of conditioning education in the region.  The first two programs being offered by the UVa Pre-hospital Education program are listed below.
